Address: 9054 Columbia Rd., Loveland, OH 45140
We are located approximately 20 miles north of Cincinnati, and just a few miles away from I-71. There should be plenty of parking at our building, but if there is not we will run a shuttle from Landen Square which is just around the corner on Montgomery Rd.
A full schedule will be available when you check in at the Assembly! We think there's something for everyone! But in brief, this is what to expect:
Let's gather together and worship, pray, and learn together with friends from around the Midwest!
All Assembly events will take place a Beth Messiah or very close by to our building. But we realize that some of you will need to stay somewhere on Friday and/or Saturday night(s). Here is one place you could stay, but there are many hotels close by.
We have a block of rooms set aside at this hotel:
Drury Inn & Suites
9956 Escort Dr.
Mason, OH 45040
You need to register by February 9th or these reserved rooms will be released into the general availability.
This includes a breakfast buffet and an evening meal offering for all registered guests.
To get one of these rooms click here (don't use a travel site) or Reservations may also be made by calling 1-800-325-0720 and referring to our group number 10173544.
Breakfast: We will have bagels, coffee, and juice at Beth Messiah. There will be donuts at a local park Saturday morning if you plan to attend the family fellowship ahead of the service.
Lunch: Lunch is on your own, BUT we will have a pizza food truck in the parking lot! They will be able to accommodate everyone in the time allotted for lunch. We do ask that you do not bring pork into the building. Please order accordingly. If pizza is not for you, there are plenty of restaurants within 2 miles of our building. If you are looking for something in particular, please see Laura at the registration table. And of course, you can pack your own lunch and bring it with you.
Dinner: The assembly will finish at 5:00p.m. and dinner will be on your own, but we encourage you to meet up with friends for one last meal as you head back home or to your hotel.
Snacks: Kids will have snacks as part of Shabbat School during the Torah Service, and in the afternoon sessions. The registration fee will help to cover these snacks.
Refreshments: Coffee, tea, lemonade and water will be available all day in the lower level of our building.
The teens will stay with their families in the morning and through lunch, but are going on a field trip in the afternoon! We will transport teens to the location less than 10 minutes away for an afternoon of games and fun. Not to mention soft drinks and snacks. More details upon registration regarding payment and waiver.
We will have shabbat school rooms open during part of the service and the whole afternoon! There will be an Early Education room for pre-school through kindergarten aged students, a Lower Elementary room for students in grades 1-3, and an Upper Elementary room for students in grades 4-6. For 7th grade and up, please see the teen description above.
Shabbat School will be a short lesson focused on getting to know one another and the theme verse of the weekend: dwell together in unity! The afternoon class will span both adult sessions and will include crafts, games, and some outdoor exploring (weather dependent), but with a focus on being good friends.
To provide supplies and snacks for all the students, there is a $5 fee. More details upon registration regarding payment. If you need assistance with this fee, please see your home congregation's leadership.
We will have a nursery open during the entire Torah service for our smallest children up to age 2. There is a small "cry room" off the sanctuary if you would like to keep your baby with you. We also have several rocking chairs in the nursery itself if that is better for you to meet your child's needs. Please let the assembly staff know if you need something more private. We will find a spot for you!
The nursery will also be open during the afternoon sessions as well. Our nursery staff will change diapers only with your permission, otherwise, you will get a text if you are needed to attend to your child for any reason.
There will also be a $5 fee for each child in the nursery. This fee covers you for part of the day or the full day. More details upon registration regarding payment.
Beth Messiah's building is 2 levels. Each level is accessible from the parking lot. The lower level has a ramp to allow everyone easy entry. The only way to access the lower level from the main level is a flight of steps. There are restrooms are both levels.
We plan to use the whole building for the Assembly! Please know that if you need to go from the main level to the lower level without steps, you will need to walk outside a very short way down the side of our parking lot to the ramp to the lower level.
